Monthly Subscription Cable Modem Service




Supplemental Internet access is available to students living in the residential hall buildings listed below.   Service is available on a monthly basis.  No Term, No Commitment, No Credit Check, No Deposit.


There are two levels of Internet service available:


Up to   3Mb down / 768k up              $16.99 per month


Up to 10Mb down / 768k up             $29.99 per month


  • A one-time activation fee of $25.00 is required for each cable modem service.  A self-installation kit will be mailed to your room.  A physical street address is required for shipping.
  • Equipment remains the property of Campus Televideo and must be surrendered upon request.
  • Unreturned equipment will be charged to the credit card on file.  Total $35.00.
  • A valid credit card is required to order and subscribe monthly to services.
  • On-site installation is available for an additional charge.
  • Student is responsible for notifying customer service to discontinue services.



FSU does not permit the connection of a wireless router or access point to the cable modem.



Service available at the following Residence Halls – North Hall, Pierce Hall,  Horace Mann Hall, O’Connor Hall, Linsley Hall, Larned Hall,  Corinne Hall Towers.

You must register your device in order to gain access to the Internet. Follow the online registration process when connecting your cable modem to the FSU cable television system.

Please reboot your equipment prior to contacting the help desk for assistance.


To add a game console to your cable modem account you will need the MAC address of your game console.  “CLICK HERE” for the registration page.   For instructions on how to obtain your game console MAC address “CLICK HERE”.


To order or disconnect service or report a trouble, please call 1-866-440-2003.   Please provide the help desk with your school name, building and room number.


Students disconnecting their service may drop off their cable modem, power supply and cables to the Office of Residence Life located on the lower level of Corinne Hall Towers.  A receipt will be provided. Remember – monthly billing does not stop when the equipment is dropped off. You must call customer service to disconnect services.
